Earth Savers completes system-wide LED upgrade for CommonSpirit Health in CA, NV and AZ

CommonSpirit Health is the 2^nd largest hospital system in the United States, formed in 2019 after a merger between the hospital networks Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health. Earth Savers was hired to perform a systemwide lighting upgrade in 39 of their hospitals throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona and in one corporate office.

With the goal of overhead cost savings and improved lighting performance in these facilities, the existing interior and exterior lighting was replaced with energy-saving LED lights that have automated illumination and dimming technology. Earth Savers’ customizable lighting solutions allowed for CommonSpirit to install these programmable lighting fixtures that can be controlled via an application available for iOS and Android devices. The auto-illuminating and auto-dimming features of these upgraded fixtures will save CommonSpirit exponential amounts of money across all facilities because of the reduced energy consumption from LED lights. This technology improves energy savings, lighting performance, and sanitation in their facilities, as employees and visitors will no longer need to touch a light switch when entering rooms.
