See’s Candies, the American manufacturer and distributor of the famous See’s chocolate, hired Earth Savers to retrofit the lighting for their headquarters facility in South San Francisco, California. This See’s Candies location is responsible for the administrative functions of the company, and has a sales floor, as well as a production floor within its facility. The array of business functions held in this facility required a creative lighting solution of LED fixtures with integrated sensors for added efficiency.

Lighting fixtures in breakrooms, closets, offices, server rooms, halls, and restrooms were retrofit with energy efficient lamps, creating a uniform lighting experience throughout this facility. Combining LED lamps with occupancy sensors maximizes energy savings, which will allow See’s Candies to see an annual kWh savings of 63,390 – or an annual $10,750 in energy costs.
